Recipients of 2022 Instructing Awards Introduced

Lately the Provincial Executive introduced the recipients of the 2022 Premier’s Award for Instructing Innovation and the Minister of Training’s Award for Compassion in Instructing.

The Premier’s Award for Instructing Innovation acknowledges number one, fundamental or secondary lecturers in all disciplines who’ve demonstrated innovation in instruction and a dedication to making ready their scholars for long run good fortune.

The 2022 Premier’s Award recipients are:

  • Christopher Butler, St. George’s Fundamental, Conception Bay South
  • Megan Heath, École Rocher du Nord, St. John’s
  • Stephanie Hodder, C.C. Loughlin Fundamental, Nook Brook
  • Jeffrey Locke , Holy Spirit Prime, Conception Bay South
  • Jim Locke, Mount Pearl Senior Prime, Mount Pearl
  • Michelle Maracle, J.R. Smallwood Center College, Wabush
  • Whitney Pye, St. Mary’s All Grade, Mary’s Harbour
  • Ashley Sheppard, C.C. Loughlin Fundamental, Nook Brook

The Minister’s Award for Compassion in Instructing acknowledges inspirational and compassionate lecturers on the number one, fundamental or secondary degree who’ve demonstrated a phenomenal dedication to supporting the social, emotional and psychological well being in their scholars, colleagues or faculty group as a complete.

The next are the 2022 Minister of Training’s Award recipients:

  • Nancy Boutin, École Boréale, Glad Valley-Goose Bay
  • Mark Bradbury, Templeton Academy, Meadows

  • Holly Healey, Holy Move Fundamental, Holyrood
  • Bernetta Hickey-Rideout, St. Joseph’s All Grade, Terrenceville
  • Donna Howse Windsor, Elizabeth Park Fundamental, Paradise
  • Dwayne Kilfoy, Donald C. Jamieson Academy, Burin

The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Training, might be presenting the awards to the recipients at a rite this autumn.

The Instructing Awards have been established in 2021 to recognize the management function that every one educators play within the lives of scholars.
