Dan Greenburg, an English teacher at Southview High school in Sylvania and president of the Sylvania Training Association, says the political attacks on public training are damaging a cornerstone of American democracy. “That’s been the magic of general public instruction,” he claimed, “in a hyper politicized atmosphere, that we can nonetheless arrive with each other on issues that matter and for the profit of young ones.”
